Box Score Virginia Union University's Parress Davis scored 17 points while teammate Melyce Brown added 15 points, but Livingstone College's Kelcyn Manurs sank a pair of free throws with 16 seconds left to give the Blue Bears a 76-74 win over the Lady Panthers on Saturday, January 5, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Danielle Ferguson scored 14 points while Ashle Freeman added 11 points in the game.

Ferguson led the Lady Panthers with nine rebounds.

Livingstone was led by Ashley Walker's 17 points.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-6 overall and 1-1 in CIAA play.  Livingstone is now 5-6 overall and 1-1 in the CIAA.

The Lady Panthers now face Johnson C. Smith University at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, January 7, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
