Virginia Union University's Tekesha Rhodes slammed two home runs while Renesha Chiles added a third homer to power the Lady Panthers to a 7-1 and 14-5 sweep of Lincoln University in Lincoln University, Pa., on Wednesday, April 11.

Rhodes slugged a homer in the first game and then added a second home run in the night-cap.  Chiles' tally came in the second game.

VUU's Quincy Lewis struck out a season-high 13 Lion batters to win the opener.  Lewis struck out five more batters in the second game.

The two wins gave VUU a final regular-season record of 11-24 overall and 7-13 in CIAA play.  The 11 wins are the most for a VUU softball team since the 2002 team won 13 games.
