Virginia Union University's Danielle McEachern slammed a home run to power VUU to a sweep of Elizabeth City State Univeristy on Monday, April 9 in Elizabeth City, N.C.

VUU won the first game10-5 and then won the nightcap 8-6.  The wins marked a four-game season sweep of the Vikings, the first time the Lady Panthers completed a four-game season streak since VUU downed Virginia State University four straight times in 2002.

VUU's Quincy Lewis struck out four over seven innings of work to pick up the win.

In the night-cap, VUU's Demi Schrader scattered six hits and stuck out four to pick up the win.

VUU meets Washington Adventist University in the Lady Panthers' home finale at Parker Field in Richmond, Va., on Tuesday, April 10.
