Box Score Virginia Union University's Vicki Collier scored 14 points and pulled down 10 rebounds, but Bowie State University was able to outlast the Lady Panthers and come away with a 58-49 win in Bowie, Md., on Thursday, February 2.

Collier went six-for-19 from the field while teammate Valentina Wheeler scored 13 points for VUU.

Virginia Union's Danielle Ferguson added 10 points for the Lady Panthers.

Bowie State was led by Juliette Turner's 13 points.

The loss stopped a three-game win streak for the Lady Panthers and dropped VUU to 8-11 overall and 5-5 in the CIAA.  Bowie State is now 4-14 overall and 4-7 in CIAA play.

VUU now returns home to historic Barco-Stevens Hall to face Elizabeth City State University at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, in Richmond, Va.
