Virginia Union University's men's tennis team opened the 2012 season at Randolph-Macon College on Saturday, February 25, in Ashland, Va.

The Panthers found a rude welcome waiting for them, however, as Randolph-Macon stopped VUU 9-0 in the opener and then Saint Mary's College downed the Panthers by an identical 9-0 score.

VUU now returns to Richmond, Va., to for their home opener, against Virginia Wesleyan University on Wednesday, February 29, in Battery Park.
