Box Score Virginia Union University's Parress Davis scored 14 points and grabbed 13 rebounds, but Virginia State University defeated VUU 60-41 on Saturday, February 11, in Petersburg, Va.

Davis went six-for-14 in the game and was the only Lady Panther to reach double figures.

The loss drops the Lady Panthers to second in the Northern Division of the CIAA.  VUU is now 4-2 in the division, with Bowie State University now in the top spot with a 6-2 divisional record.

The loss also drops VUU to 9-12 overall and 6-6 in the CIAA.

Virginia State was led by Da'Shae Jones and Marquilla Evans, who scored 12 points apiece.

VSU is now 13-11 overall and 5-7 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Murfreesboro, N.C., to face Chowan University on Monday, February 13, at 5:30 p.m.
