Virginia Union University's Ashle Freeman scored 23 points, but Mount Olive College snapped the Lady Panthers' three-game win streak when they topped VUU 65-46 on Tuesday, December 11, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Denesha Tatum had five rebounds to lead the Lady Panthers on the boards.

Freeman also had six steals in the game.

Mount Olive was led by Joneiqua Gary's 20 points.

The loss dropped VUU to 3-4 on the season while Mount Olive is now 6-0.

Virginia Union now travels to Lynchburg, Va., to meet Division I Liberty University at 12:00 p.m. on Monday, December 17.
