Box Score Virginia Union University's Vicki Collier scored a team-high 15 points, but Winston-Salem State University was able to top the Lady Panthers 68-45 on Saturday, January 7, in Winston-Salem, N.C.

VUU's Shahadah Barret added 10 points in the game while teammate Melyse Brown pulled down a team-high eight rebounds.

The loss dropped VUU to 3-6 overall on the season and 0-1 in CIAA play.

Winston-Salem State was paced by Courtney Medley's 21 points while Monique Williams grabbed 10 rebounds.

WSSU is now 7-5 overall and 2-0 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Raleigh, N.C., to face Shaw University on Monday, January 9, at 6:00 p.m.
