Box Score Virginia Union University's Vicki Collier scored 18 points, but Johnson C. Smith University came from behind to top the Lady Panthers 65-51 on Monday, January 16, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Collier also grabbed six rebounds, tying for team-high honors with freshman Danielle Ferguson, who also had six boards.

VUU's Parress Davis added 10 points in the game.

Johnson C. Smith was led by LaQwesha Gamble's 22 points and 11 rebounds.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-9 overall and 1-4 in CIAA play.  Johnson C. Smith is now 11-3 and 5-0 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now plays Fayetteville State University at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 19, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
