Virginia Union University's Tiffany Clarke scored 15 points, but Bowie State upended the Lady Panthers 76-49 in Bowie, Md., on February 21.

Clarke was six of 11 from the field while teammate Leslie Slayton added 12 points for the Lady Panthers.

VUU was led in rebounding by LaTasia Robinson's nine boards.

Bowie State was led in scoring by Brittney Jackson's 15 points and in rebounding by Brittne Gowdy's six rebounds.

The loss drops VUU to 3-21 overall on the season and 3-14 in the CIAA.  The Lady Panthers are locked into the #5 seed in the CIAA's Northern Division.

Bowie State is now 17-9 overall and 12-6 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union wraps up the regular season with the 2010-11 home finale on February 23 in Barco-Stevens Hall when the Lady Panthers face Elizabeth City State University.
