Virginia Union University's Tiffany Clarke scored 11 points while teammate Valentina Wheeler added nine points, but Virginia State University downed the Lady Panthers 82-35 on February 17 in Petersburg, Va.

Clarke also had seven rebounds to lead VUU in that department.

Virginia State was led by Rhon'Neisha Taylor's 23 points and Carita Johnson's seven rebounds.

The loss drops VUU to 2-20 on the season overall and 2-13 in the CIAA.  VSU is now 14-8 overall and 8-5 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Lincoln University, Pa., to face Lincoln at 5:30 p.m. on February 19.
