Former Virginia Union University men's basketball player Chris Moore has signed a contract with the National Basketball Association's Developmental League (NBA D-League) and will be drafted when the D-League holds it's annual draft on November 1.

Last season Moore was drafted In the NBA-Development League In the fifth round as the 67th overall pick by the Los Angeles Lakers' affiliate, the Los Angeles D-Fenders. 

Moore has played professionally every year since helping lead Virginia Union to the 2005 NCAA Division II National Championship.

Moore is still trying to fulfill his quest of playing in the NBA, and carrying on the VUU tradition, like former VUU Greats, Charles Oakley, Ben Wallace, and Terry Davis.
