Smith Powers 28 points

Despite a double-double from senior Tonaye Smith, the Virginia Union women's basketball team fell to Livingstone College, 83-92, inside Trent Gym on Saturday.

Smith scored 28 points and pulled down 12rebounds in the loss. Teammates Kara Scott and Dashia Chandler also scored in double figures with 10 and 13 points.
