Three Players Finish in Double Figures

Despite shooting 61.9% from the charity stripe, the Lady Panthers (6-11, 3-8 CIAA) dropped a one-point heart-breaker to the Lady Bears of Livingstone College, 55-54.

VUU was 13-for-21 at the free throws line in the contest.

Freshmen Kara Scott led the squad with 14 points, while Tonaye Smith had a double-double grabbing 15 rebounds and scoring 13 points.

Micayala Ricks shot 5-for-6 at the foul line finishing the game with 12 points.

The Lady Panthers return home to play the Lady Falcons of Saint Augustine College on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
