(Richmond, VA – January 15, 2009) Virginia Union University's Kara Scott had career/team high with 21 points in a win against Livingstone College 83-67.  Scott was 6-8 from the field and shooting 9-15 from the free throw line.

Teammates Tonaye Smith was not far behind with 19 points and 11 rebounds. She went 9-15 at the free throw line. Micayala Ricks was 3-4 from behind the arch cashing in 19 points.

The Lady Panthers are now 5-8 overall and 2-4 CIAA. Their next match up will be at rival school Virginia State University in Daniels Gym January 17, 2009. Schedule time is 5:30pm.
