VUU participated in the 76th Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) Intercollegiate Championship that was hosted by the Virginia State Golf Association (VSGA) being played at The Lake Chesdin Golf Club in Chesterfield. This tournament was a 36-hole Individual stroke play tournament. Lake Chesdin Golf Club is a Par 72, 6,835-yard layout.

There was a field of 42 golfers from several schools in Virginia. Consisting of DI's, DII, and D III.  
Brady Wood's lead team scoring finishing 12th with a score of 154 (76/78) followed by Joseph Boone who finished 13th with a score of 156 (82/74).

"This was a very competitive Individual State Championship Golf Tournament and the VVU participants responded very well," said VUU Head Golf Coach E. Lee Coble.  "With the help of Assistant Coach Sean Bowers, and Travon Willis Wood's & Boone responded and played very well in each competitive round. We continue to be immensely proud of the accomplishments of our VUU Golf Team on and off the golf course.  We are now preparing for The 2026 CIAA Spring Championship Segment."
