The VUU Golf Team have won the CIAA Dr. Freddie Vaughn Highest Academic Award for the 2023-24 season with a team grade point average of 3.81.

Alkin Barkley, a Grad Student from Johannesburg, South Africa, majoring in Data Analytics, finished with a 4.20 GPA andÂ
Travon Willis, a Grad Student from Indian Trails, N.C., also majoring in Data Analytics, recorded a 4.10 GPAs for the season.Â
Joseph Graham a Senior from Accokeek, MD., majoring in Business Analytics, finished with a 3.82 GPA.

Zaccheus Spann, a Grad Student from St. Charles, MS. , majoring in Business Information Technology and Secondary Education finished with a 3.73 GPA and Freshman,
Brady Wood from New Brunswick, Canada, majoring in Chemistry recorded a GPA of 3.51, while teammateÂ
Joseph Boone a Freshman from Ft. Washington, MD, majoring in Business analytics, finished a GPA of 3.48.Â

Earlier this season, the Panthers captured their second CIAA Championship in 5 years and advanced to the NCAA Regional Tournament.
