The Virginia Union University's Golf Team was presented with $50,000.00 donation from an anonymous supporter. The donation is to be used to purchase a Travel Van for the Golf Team. Through the generosity of the anonymous donor in support of our student-athletes our Athletic Department can increase its travel fleet to support our student-athletes.

This donation is also in recognition of the success of The Golf Team over the several seasons, which includes:

• Two Conference Championships (2019 & 2024).
• National HBCU Academic Awards (2020/2021/2022)
• 2025 Dr. Freddie Vaughn Highest GPA 2025
