The Regional Championship was played May 11th – 13th. at The Iron Valley Golf Club in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. "This is the first in the history of the CIAA Conference that three CIAA Teams (Fayetteville State University, Livingstone College, and Virginia Union University) were selected to participate based upon Head-to-Head competition within the Atlantic Region," said Virginia Union's Head Golf Coach E. Lee Coble.

VUU was ranked in the top ten in the Atlantic Region throughout the 2022-23 Golf Season. VUU finished in eighth place in the DII NCAA East Regional Championship.

"While we did not play as well as we wanted to in the Regional Championship, we had a successful season. We finished the season with a 75.5 scoring average. We are in a position to get off to a quick start for the 2023-24 season. Coach Bowers and I remain immensely proud of this golf team and look forward to our continued success in our upcoming season," said Coach Coble.
