Box Score Virginia Union University's men's basketball team wrapped up the 2021-22 regular season with an 83-78 win over Shaw University on Saturday, February 19, in Raleigh, N.C.

VUU slammed home at least seven alley-oop dunks as the Panthers finished with their 21st win of the season.

"It's always good to finish the regular season with a win going into the CIAA tournament," said Virginia Union University Head Men's Basketball Coach Jay Butler.  "Also, to win the Northern Division Championship coming off a year with no basketball because of the pandemic was huge accomplishment for our program.  I'm very proud of these young men."

VUU finishes the 2021-22 regular season with a 21-6 record overall and 13-3 in CIAA play.  The Panthers will enter the CIAA Tournament as the CIAA Northern Division Champions.
