2022-23 Season Basketball Passes Now On Sale

Panther fans, the 2022-23 men's and women's basketball seasons are right around the corner, and you can pick up your 2022-23 Virginia Union University Basketball Season Passes NOW at the low price of only $150.00!
 
The Season Pass will admit you to all 24 men's and women's basketball games held this upcoming season in Barco-Stevens Hall.   The $150 price enables you to a 50% savings if you were to buy tickets on a game-by-game basis.
  
On the women's side, VUU's Ny Langley and Taniah Johnson have been named Pre-Season All-CIAA.

Langley, a junior forward from Greenville, N.C., who is majoring in Criminal Justice, led the Lady Panthers in scoring with a 13.3 points per game average last season and averaged 6.8 rebounds per game.  She scored a career-high 30 points against Shaw University on January 29.

Johnson, a junior guard from Roanoke, Va., who is majoring in Biology, was second on the team in scoring with an 11.7 ppg average.  She scored 25 points against both Shepherd University and Winston-Salem State University in addition to hitting a game-winning 3-pointer against Shaw.
 
The Lady Panthers tip-off 2022-23 with their home-opener at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 27.

The men will be led by Robert Osborne, Raemaad Wright and Keleaf Tate, who were all named Pre-Season All-CIAA.

Osborne, a senior forward from Richmond, Va., led the Panthers with an average of 13.3 points per game last season.  He scored a season-high 28 points against Claflin last season.  

Wright, a senior forward from Suffolk, Va., led VUU in rebounds with an average of 7.1 boards per game last season.  He also averaged 8.0 points per game in 2021-22.

Tate, a senior guard from Washington, D.C., led the Panthers with 145 three-pointers from a season ago.  Tate also averaged 9.5 points per game last season.

The men's team will open the home season by hosting Augusta University at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 3.
