Virginia Union University's women's cross-country team competed in the 2022 Panther Invite, held on Friday, October 14, at Bryan Park in Richmond, Va.

VUU's top finisher was Kayla Lee, who placed 15th running the 5,000-meter course in a time of 27:41.6.

VUU's Christal Rolack placed 18th with a time of 28:15.6.

"It was a nice meet coming off homecoming," said VUU Cross-Country Coach Franck Charles.  "Now we are going to start getting ready for the CIAA CHAMPIONSHIP on October 27 at Salem, Va."
