Box Score Virginia Union University's Todd Hughes scored 18 points and pulled down a team-high nine rebounds, but Elizabeth City State University defeated the Panthers 72-68 on Wednesday, February 21, in Elizabeth City, N.C.

VUU had five players reach double-figures in scoring.

Virginia Union's Andre Walker scored 11 points in the game.

VUU's James Paige, Kory Cooley and Devin Moore each scored 10 points while Paige grabbed eight rebounds.

The loss dropped VUU to 13-14 on the season and 8-7 in the CIAA.  Elizabeth City State is now 12-13 overall and 5-10 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union wraps up the 2017-18 regular season with a home match-up against Chowan University at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
