Box Score PHOTO GALLERY | Virginia Union University's Kory Cooley and Todd Hughes scored 17 points apiece to give VUU a 67-60 win over Bowie State University in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va., on Saturday, January 20.

Both players went 7-for-10 in field goal shooting as the Panthers got their 10th win of the year.

Hughes also led VUU with eight rebounds.

VUU's James Paige scored 12 points while fellow Panther Jemal Smith dished off eight assists.

The win also kept VUU in sole possession of second place in the Northern Division of the CIAA.  VUU is now 10-9 overall and 5-2 in CIAA play.

Bowie State fell to 8-11 overall and 3-5 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Lincoln University, Pa., to face Lincoln University at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 24.
