Ray Anderson scored a team-high 22 points as VUU raced to it's 21st win of the season by downing Lincoln University of Pennsylvania 83-64 on Saturday, February 11, in Lincoln University, Pa.
The win was the eighth straight for the Panthers, marking the team's longest win streak since the 2009-10 won eight straight games. Â The 21 wins are also the most for a VUU men's team since the 2008-09 team won 21 games.

James Paige scored 11 points apiece in the first half as the Panthers raced out to a 45-24 halftime lead.

John Mitchell led the Panthers in rebounding with eight boards.
VUU shot a blistering 59.4% from the field for the game, including hitting 14 of 23 in the second half.
The win raised Virginia Union's record to 21-5 overall and 13-1.  The Panthers and Virginia State University have identical 6-1 divisional records, but VUU holds the advantage with a 13-1 CIAA record compared to VSU's 12-2 CIAA record.
Virginia Union now returns home to Historic Barco-Stevens Hall when the face Elizabeth City State University in the regular-season home finale at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 15.
