Box Score Virginia Union University's James Paige had 14 points while teammate Todd Hughes recorded a double-double, but a last-second shot gave 19th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit University a 63-61 win over VUU on Wednesday, November 15, in Wheeling, W.Va.

Hughes scored 10 point and grabbed 11 rebounds in the game.

Virginia Union's Marcus Hoosier and Kory Cooley also scored 10 points apiece.

With the game tied at 61-61, Wheeling Jesuit's Preston Boswell hit a jumper in the paint with three seconds remaining to give Wheeling Jesuit the win.

The loss gave VUU a 1-2 record while Wheeling Jesuit is now 3-0 on the season.

Virginia Union now travels to Mount Olive, N.C., to compete in the 52nd Annual Pickle Classic.  The Panthers will face Barton College at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 17 and will then face host University of Mount Olive at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 18.
