Box Score Virginia Union University's Kory Cooley scored 29 points but Livingstone defeated VUU 75-70 in the semi-finals of the CIAA Tournament on Friday, February 26, in Charlotte, N.C.

VUU's Ray Anderson had a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds while John Mitchell grabbed 10 rebounds.

Virginia Union's Tavon Mealy added 10 points in the game.

The loss gave VUU a final record of 16-14, marking the Panthers' first winning season since 2011-12.
