Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 28 points on 12-of-17 shooting from the field and the visiting Panthers defeated the Vikings 83-70 on Wednesday, February 17, in Elizabeth City, N.C.

Korey Cooley scored 17, and Tavon Mealy (Armstrong) added 15 and nine rebounds.

Miykael Faulcon hit nine 3-pointers and scored a game-high 31 points for the Vikings.

The Panthers shot 63.5 percent from the field and outrebounded the Vikings 34-23.

The win raised VUU's record to 14-13 overall and 7-8 in CIAA play.  The Panthers can wrap up second place in the Northern Division with a win over Chowan on Saturday.
