Box Score Virginia Union University's Kory Cooley scored a game-high 24 points as the Panthers defeated Lincoln (Pa.) University 91-77 on Saturday, February 13, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Cooley hit seven of 15 shots from the field as the Panthers evened their record to 13-13 overall.

VUU's Danny McElroy scored 14 while teammate Tavon Mealy scored 13 points and grabbed a team-high nine rebounds.

Virginia Union's Ray Anderson scored 13 points and dished off 12 assists.

The win evened VUU's record at 13-13 overall and 6-8 overall while Lincoln fell to 8-17 overall and 6-8 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Elizabeth City, N.C., to face Elizabeth City State University at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 17.
