The loss dropped VUU to 12-13 overall and 5-8 in CIAA play. Â The Panthers stayed in second place in the Northern Division of the CIAA with a 4-3 divisional record.
Bowie State is now 14-10 overall and 7-5 in the CIAA. Â The Bulldogs, however, are behind the Panthers in the divisional standings with a 3-3 divisional record.
Virginia Union now returns home to face Lincoln University at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 13, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
