Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 18 points, but Winston-Salem State University defeated VUU in overtime 75-72 on Monday, February 1, in Winston-Salem, N.C.

Anderson also had four steals in the game.

VUU's Danny McElroy scored 15 points while Tavon Mealy grabbed a team-high eight rebounds.

Virginia Union's John Mitchell added 13 points in the game.

The loss dropped VUU to 12-11 overall and 5-6 in the CIAA.  Winston-Salem State is now 11-11 overall and 5-6 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union now travels to Salisbury, N.C., to face Livingstone College at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday, February 3.
