Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 12 points, but 13th-ranked Wheeling Jesuit University defeated the Panthers 76-63 on Thursday, December 15, in Historic Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Tavon Mealy recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds.

Virginia Union's Kory Cooley led the Panthers with seven assists while teammate William Jenkins tallied four blocks.

The loss dropped VUU to 8-4 on the season while Wheeling Jesuit is now 7-1.

Virginia Union will return to action on Monday, January 2, when the Panthers meet Winston-Salem State University at 7:30 p.m. in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
