Fuquay-Varina, NC - Virginia Union running back William Stanback has been named North Carolina Mutual Life BOXTOROW National Player of the week.

Stanback, a senior from Hempstead, N.Y., carried the ball 32 times for 194 yards and three touchdowns in the Panthers 42-35 victory over Bowie State.
