Alvin Parker to Coach in 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl

RICHMOND, VA — Virginia Union University is proud to announce that Head Football Coach Dr. Alvin Parker has been selected to serve as an assistant coach for the East Team in the 2026 East-West Shrine Bowl, taking place today, Tuesday, January 27, 2026, in Frisco, Texas.

The East-West Shrine Bowl is one of the nation's premier college all-star football showcases, featuring top senior collegiate athletes and coaching staffs from across the country. Coach Parker's appointment marks a significant professional honor and underscores his respected reputation within collegiate football coaching circles.
