Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored a game-high 26 points to lead the Panthers to a 75-67 win over Bowie State University on Wednesday, January 20, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

The win was the fourth straight for the Panthers, marking the first four-game win streak since the 2012-13 season.

VUU's Kory Cooley scored 21 points while teammate Danny McElroy pulled down six rebounds.

The win raised Virginia Union's record to 10-9 overall and 4-4 in the CIAA.   Bowie State fell to 11-8 overall and 4-4 in CIAA play.  The Panthers are tied for second place in the Northern Division of the CIAA with a 2-1 divisional record.

Virginia Union now travels to Lincoln University to face the Lions at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 23, in Lincoln University, Pa.
