Virginia Union University will stage its annual Spring Football Game as part of the 2015 Athletic Jamboree on Saturday, April 11, in Richmond, Va.

The Jamboree will start at 12 noon and will feature a cookout provided by the VUU Women's Athletic Alumni Association and the Burning Sands Football Club while an "Old-School" Softball Game between athletic alumni will be held from 2-4 p.m.

The Virginia Union Cheerleaders, the Rah Rahs, will be on-hand as well as a performance by the VUU Marching Band, The Ambassadors of Sound.  Several local high school bands will also be in attendance and performing as well.

Topping off the festivities will be the annual Virginia Union University Spring Football Game, beginning at 6:00 p.m. in Historic Hovey Field.

The 2015 football squad will be divided into Maroon and White units as VUU Head Coach Mark James unveils the 2015 edition of VUU Football.  Our first game will be against Brevard College at 1:00 p.m. on September 5 in Hovey Field.

Admission is free for all of the festivities!
