Virginia Union University's Makeda Elliott won the long jump at the Ramapo College Indoor Select Meet on Saturday, February 7, with a leap of 18' 3.75."

Virginia Union's C'Evon Jones won the women's 60 meters with a time of 7.56 seconds while Brionna Singleton was second in the high jump with a leap of 5'7".  

Singleton's leap makes her the top high jumper in the CIAA.

VUU's Khadijah Valentine was second in the 200 meters with a time of 25.52 while the 4 x 400 relay team of Eboni Watford, Valentine, Imani Jackson and Daniaria Brice placed third in their event with a time of 4:00.45.

Watford also finished sixth in the 400 meters with a time of 58.67.

VUU now travels to Winston-Salem, N.C., to compete in the CIAA Indoor Track & Field Championships, to be held on February 15 and 16.
