The Virginia Union University women's track & field team turned in an impressive performance at the HBCU Showcase, establishing
three new school records and continuing to show strong progress early in the season.
"Our women's team came out of the HBCU Showcase with three new school records, and we are very pleased with the progress being made," said
VUU Head Track & Field Coach Franck Charles. "We're excited about the pieces we have on the women's side and encouraged by the direction we're headed. Overall, the ladies performed very well at the HBCU Showcase and continue to show growth."
The Panthers were led by record-breaking efforts in the 4x400-meter relay, 800 meters, and shot put, highlighting a weekend of competitive performances and continued development.

The Panthers will look to build on their momentum as the season continues.

VUU will next compete on January 25 at the JDL Fast Track Meet in Winston-Salem, N.C.
