Box Score Virginia Union University's D'Andre Bullard led all scorers with 24 points, but Chowan University defeated VUU in overtime in the regular-season finale 85-81 on Saturday, February 21, in Murfreesboro, N.C.

VUU's Avery Jirmnson scored 21 points in the game while Bullard also led the Panthers with seven rebounds.

Virginia Union's Franky Johnson hit four three-pointers, including one at the end of regulation to send the game into overtime.  Johnson finished with 12 points.

The loss gave VUU a final regular-season record of 9-17 overall and 5-11 in the CIAA.  Chowan finishes at 14-12 overall and 8-8 in CIAA play.

Virginia Union will enter the 2015 CIAA Tournament as the fifth seed in the Northern Division of the CIAA.  The Panthers will begin tournament play on Tuesday, February 24, at a time to be determined in the Time Warner Cable Arena in Charlotte, N.C.
