Box Score Virginia Union University's D'Andre Bullard led the Panthers with 20 points to lead the Panthers to an 83-76 win over third-ranked Bowie State University on Wednesday, February 11, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Bowie State entered the game ranked third in the D2SIDA Atlantic Region media poll.

VUU's Avery Jirmnson had a double-double with 10 assists and 17 points while Colton Lewis had a double-double with 12 points and 11 rebounds.

Virginia Union's Ray Anderson added 16 points in the win.

The win raised VUU's record to 8-15 overall and 4-9 in the CIAA.  Bowie State dropped to 18-7 overall and 10-3 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Lincoln University, Pa., to face Lincoln University at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 14.
