Box Score Virginia Union University's men's basketball team went on a 12-6 run over the final three minutes of the game to wipe out a deficit and come away with a 76-74 win over Shaw University on Saturday, November 21, in Raleigh, N.C.

VUU's Tavon Mealy led the Panthers with 15 points while Ray Anderson added 14 points in the win.

Mealy and Kori Cooley led the Panthers on the boards with five rebounds apiece.

The win, the second straight for the Panthers, evened VUU's record at 2-2 while Shaw fell to 0-3 on the season.

VUU now returns home to face Winston-Salem State University at 6:00 p.m. on Friday, November 27, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
