Box Score Virginia Union University's Tavon Mealy scored 24 points, but Wheeling Jesuit University defeated VUU 99-85 on the second day of the Clarion Hotel Classic in Shepherdstown, W.V., on Sunday, November 15.

Mealy also had 15 rebounds in the game.

VUU's Kory Cooley had 21 points while Ray Anderson added 12 points.

Virginia Union's Ke'Andre Gibson also had 11 points.

The loss dropped VUU to 0-2 on the season while Wheeling Jesuit is now 2-0.

The Panthers now return home to Barco-Stevens Hall to face Bluefield State University at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, in Richmond, Va.
