Box Score Virginia Union University's D'Andre Bullard scored 13 points, but Johnson C. Smith University defeated VUU 72-68 on Monday, January 5, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

VUU's Ray Anderson scored 12 points for the Panthers in the game.

Virginia Union's Colton Lewis led the Panthers on the boards with seven rebounds while Avery Jirmnson dished out six assists.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-9 overall and 0-3 in CIAA play.  Johnson C. Smith is now 7-7 overall and 1-2 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Raleigh, N.C., to face Shaw University at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 8.
