Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson had 20 points while teammate D'Andre Bullard added 11 points, but Bowie State University defeated the Panthers 74-68 on Wednesday, January 21, in Bowie, Md.

VUU's Karo Adjekughele scored in double-figures for the second time this season with 12 points in the game.

Colton Lewis led the Panthers on the boards with nine rebounds while Avery Jirmnson and Adjekughele had six rebounds apiece.

The loss dropped VUU to 4-14 overall and 0-8 in the CIAA.  Bowie State is now 15-5 overall and 7-1 in CIAA play.

The Panthers return home to face Lincoln University at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 24, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.
