Virginia Union University's C'Evon Jones won the women's 60-meters with a time of 7.59 seconds at the University of Maryland Terrapin Invitational, held on January 18, in College Park, Md.

VUU's Brianna Singleton placed seventh in the women's high jump with a leap of 5' 4.25."

Virginia Union now travels to Newport News, Va., to compete in the Christopher Newport University Captain's Invite, to be held January 30 and 31.
