Box Score Virginia Union University's Ray Anderson scored 23 points to lead the Panthers to a 77-70 non-conference win over Shaw University on Saturday, November 22, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Anderson hit eight of 16 shots from the field, including three three-pointers in the game.  He also pulled down seven rebounds.

VUU's Avery Jirmnson scored 15 points while teammate Colton Lewis added 13 points.

Virginia Union's D'Andre Bullard and Deonte Moore scored 11 points apiece.

The win evened VUU's record at 2-2 on the season.  Shaw dropped to 1-2 on the season.

Virginia now faces Virginia University at Lynchburg at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 25, in Barco-Stevens Hall.
