Box Score Virginia Union University said good-bye to two seniors as the Panthers fell to Elzabeth City State University 62-61 on Wednesday, February 20, in Richmond, Va.


Senior Juan Wilson scored a team-high 15 points to lead the Panthers in scoring, while senior teammate Wesley Simmons added 10 points in the game.


VUU's Marcel Crump also added 10 points for the Panthers.

The loss dropped VUU to 9-14 overall on the season and 6-9 in the CIAA.

The Panthers kept hold of third place in the Norhthern Division of the CIAA Norther Division by virtue of Virginia State University's loss to Bowie State University.

VUU now  travels to Murfreesboro, N.C., to meet Chowan University at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 23.
