Box Score Virginia Union University's Michael Wynn scored 12 points, but Johnson C. Smith University outlasted the Panthers 85-52 on Wednesday, January 9, in Barco-Stevens Hall in Richmond, Va.

Wiin his three of five shots from the field, including two three-pointers.

VUU's Xavier Carter and Niiarhma Harper-Douglas pulled down five rebounds apiece.

Johnson C. Smith was led in scoring by Trevin Parks' 23 points and Emilio Parks' 12 rebounds.

The loss dropped VUU to 2-8 overall and 0-3 in the CIAA.  Johnson C. Smith is now 8-5 overall and 1-2 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now travels to Raleigh, N.C., to face Shaw University on Thursday, January 10, at 8:00 p.m.
