Box Score Virginia Union University's Juan Wilson and Ken Pankey scored 12 points apiece, but Saint Augustine's University defeated VUU 65-57 on Monday, January 14, in Emery Gym in Raleigh, N.C.

VUU's Omar Briggs added 10 points in the game while Wilson led the Panthers with seven rebounds.

Saint Augustine's was led in scoring by Percy Woods' 18 points.

The loss dropped VUU to 3-10 overall and 1-5 in CIAA play.  Saint Augustine's is now 10-6 overall and 3-3 in the CIAA.

Virginia Union now returns to Richmond, Va., to face Virginia State University at 7:00 p.m. in the 2013 Freedom Classic, to be held on Sunday, January 20, in the Richmond Coliseum.
