Box Score Virginia Union University's Damion Harris scored a career-high 39 points, but Elizabeth City State University defeated the Panthers 83-80 in Elizabeth City, N.C., on Thursday, February 23.

Harris hit 17 of 21 shots from the field while also grabbing a team-high 12 rebounds.

VUU's Juan Wilson added 18 points for the Panthers in the game.

The loss gave VUU a regular-season record of 15-13 overall and 10-6 in the CIAA.  Elizabeth City State raised it's record to 13-13 overall and 7-9 in the CIAA.

VUU now travels to Charlotte, N.C., to play in the CIAA Tournament.
